(October 22, 2024) — During the annual International Boat Builders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX), on October 1st, Rob Parmentier, President and CEO of Sailfish Boats was elected to join the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Board of Directors. Parmentier current sits on the NMMA’s Boat Manufacturers Division board.

“Throughout my 42+ years in this industry, I have made it a point for not only my success but the companies I have led, to have a strong focus, connection to and relationship with the industries’ stakeholders,” said Rob. He went on to say, “being a representative of the industry to support it’s continued success, growth and longevity are responsibilities I take to heart and is important to me when I step away from this industry that has been so good to me and the countless others it has been fortunate to support.”

Parmentier added, “I am honored the NMMA, the OEMs it represents and the current board felt my work and advocacy for the industry has earned this appointment.”
